A cultural movement shaped by route, place, and resonance
About Routes of Resonance

With Borneo and Sarawak as important points of departure, it serves as a curatorial framework through which projects such as Isles in Resonance are developed.
Radiance Global Culture is the initiating and organising body behind the projects it presents. Within this framework, Routes of Resonance serves as the umbrella identity for a wider cultural movement and programme series.

What Routes of Resonance Means
Routes of Resonance speaks to more than geography, and more than cultural exchange in the abstract. It refers to the pathways through which places, people, memory, sound, and artistic practice come into meaningful relation with one another.
The word Routes suggests movement, passage, circulation, and encounter. It evokes journeys across regions, but also the ways culture is carried, translated, and renewed through contact.
The word Resonance points beyond sound alone. It suggests response, recognition, attentiveness, and the subtle ways one place may answer another through art and shared experience.
Taken together, Routes of Resonance expresses a mode of cultural exchange that is neither one-directional nor merely transactional. It is rooted in reciprocity, shaped by place, and sustained through listening, artistic dialogue, and ongoing relationship.
Positioning
With Borneo and Sarawak as important points of departure, Routes of Resonance remains open to broader conversations across Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and beyond. Its focus is not only on the presentation of artistic work, but also on the deeper cultural conditions that allow exchange to become meaningful.
This includes:
- how places come to know one another through art
- how cities and local cultures are re-seen through performance and encounter
- how performance, education, dialogue, and community participation can form lasting cultural connection
In this sense, Routes of Resonance is not only a programme title, but also a curatorial framework — a way of imagining how art may travel, connect, and leave an echo across places.
Logo Concept
The logo of Routes of Resonance is centred on a flowing, asymmetrical infinity form. It suggests continuity, movement, and return, while resisting the rigidity of a closed or static symbol.
Rather than functioning as a mathematical sign, the form is intended as a living route: one side opening outward, the other drawing inward; one movement arriving, the other departing. It reflects the idea that cultural exchange is not a fixed state, but an ongoing process of passage, response, and renewal.
Its flowing lines evoke passageways, currents, and traces of resonance — the visible and invisible paths through which culture moves between communities. The asymmetry is deliberate: it suggests that exchange is never perfectly balanced, but is instead shaped by history, distance, attention, and encounter.
The visual language also maintains a subtle relationship with Radiance Global Culture, carrying forward a sense of refinement and cultural depth while establishing Routes of Resonance as a distinct identity of its own.
Relationship to Isles in Resonance
Isles in Resonance is one of the individual projects developed under the wider umbrella of Routes of Resonance.
If Routes of Resonance names the broader curatorial direction and movement identity, then Isles in Resonance represents one specific artistic expression of that vision — a project in which music, place, memory, and cross-regional dialogue are brought into direct encounter.
